High School Students are the primary clients for current YESSS contests.

The 2007 - 2008 YESSS contests reward "Best-in-Class" entries that help address emergent ecosystem crises, locally or globally (or better yet, both locally and globally).

Contest entries are requested in any of four categories: "Arts", "Science", "Civics" and "Commerce".

Winning entries in the "Arts", "Science" and "Civics" categories will be awarded cash prizes of $ 500 each.

Winning entries in the "Commerce" category will presumably be self-rewarded financially through their success in the marketplace. So, arrangements are being made for some well-respected eco-commerce consultants to provide $ 500 worth of their professional services as the prize for "Commerce" entry winners.

Winning contest entries in each category will be primarily determined via peer acknowledgment (i. e., each contestant votes on best-in-class in each category).

YESSS advisors will help with determining winners.

Contestants are encouraged to aim to win "best-in-class" in at least two categories. (From a systems view, the realm where categories overlap ... is most interesting.)
