Fun Homework?
Hi Xarissa and Lu,
Thanks for sharing Fulin's photos, Lu!!! I love that Shangri La hat.
Here's an update on my progress:
I'm still eager to welcome video interviews featuring young folks expressing appreciation for their favorite kindergarten lessons; especially if we can help organize some cool interdependent collaborative multi=cultural mash=ups that enhance good global relationships emerging spontaneously and compassionately and consciously with respect for our sustainability/thrivability crises.
And yet, I've recently begun realizing that I may need to take another baby step first.
So, feeling this need for a simpler introduction that at least some Students might just find a whole lot more relevant and valuable, I'm aiming to support any Students whose current academic courses of study include creative writing assignments.
Essentially, I'm now focusing on helping certain Students with their homework.
Homework? How uncool can we possibly get?
Anyhow, if I can possibly help provide some valued support services so that any and/or all Students can have more fun working on their current creative writing assignments then I'll be feeling quite delighted. Since their homework has to get done one way or another anyhow, I'm envisioning the simple circulation of good ideas among interested Students as a valued resource.
So, can you please help me envision implementing such valued support services that actually deliver such valued resources?
For now, I'm envisioning something like an open call for participation:
****************************************************************
All Students currently engaged in creative writing assignments and related research activities, kindly consider the following as an example of fun fuel for thought:
"Imagine you're an ecosystem, nurtured by "THANKS!!!" from the future."
Letting your imagination fly, play in the genre of science fiction. Let's share our favorite ideas with one another, bouncing them around generating common sense insights and hopefully some collaborative wisdom.
Tuning into current events like global climate change, this December's UNFCCC gathering in Copenhagen and 350.org's self organizing Public Service Announcements this October 24 th., let's see if our most favorite ideas might add some value.
Overall objective = enrich our public domain
Operating principle = have fun learning
Organizing image = human ecosystems evolving
****************************************************************
Does the above "open call for participation" feel good enough and make enough sense for you? How might I improve and clarify it so that you'd feel most comfortable and confident sharing this call for participation via your professional and personal networks?
Ciao for now,
paul
P. S. = this audio recording of a good conversation is listen=worthy:

here's another great post from wolrdchanging where I got the above link:

I enjoyed the good fortune of meeting Jean @ last October's OSN Camp.
P. P. S. = Lu, do you believe it would be good fun to include in the Chinese version of our "call for participation" to include something like:
"Jia Junpeng, your great, great, great, great, great, great grand daughter's calling you ... to say thanks for working so creatively for next hundred days."
Xarissa, perhaps we can generate some substantive interest here at home in the States through an imaginary character that can attract public attention. I made up the name "Stymie Entropy" and I'm confident he can team up with "Jia Junpeng" to host some good learning fun.
P. P. S. = Students sharing their favorite good ideas freely and openly with one another can also intentionally serve as a living example of gift economics. And we human beings can certainly use more good public resources like that.

Problem with activation
Hi there, I dont know if I am writing in a proper board but I have got a problem with activation, link i receive in email is not working... http://www.yesss.info/?e5e71185d3963cf1bb70036f578,
So sorry for the delay!
I trust you'll revisit, see this response and consider forgiving me; especially after all the efforts you've been making for the past few months.
paul
Thanks -x!!!
I changed 'sensitive to future signals' to ' nurtured by "THANKS!!!" from the future'.
Also, I love your suggestion for a richer narrative prompt as well as your other inputs.
I'm so glad Jean's work with thrivability rings your bell.
