Copenhagen aim:
help good folks ... on their breaks from
"official" meetings ...
open source caring
for treaty designers and
their best caregivers ...
... let's support these folks
up through, during and after
December's powwow!
Let's face it, these folks
will be workin' their bloody
and blessed butts off.
What are they gonna
do for recreation just
to rejuvenate?
Let's be there for them
whenever and however
they need a breather.
What kinds of breathers
might they find most appealing,
most valuable?
Get rest, gain insight,
then back to work designing
best in class treaties
for helping manage
our emergent global
crises, humanely.
Climate, energy,
economy, "All of it!!!"
Let's manage this mess ...
If this amounts to cheerleading, then so be it =
Let's assume good treaties include authentic efforts to cultivate much more trust with others (of course) and at least as crucially, within ourselves. Let's say that a good skill set for sustainable treaty design includes open networked learning opportunities for designers to sharpen and refine their self reflective skills as required whenever we humans employ critical thinking combined with collaborative initiatives to innovate; essentially whenever our species' evolutionary envelope gets nudged by our simple need to learn.
As designers, we need to get as clear on wherever we're coming from as we're as clear on whatever we're crafting. Any such clear understanding, when clearly shared with others becomes a deposit in our public trust = epistemic explication becomes a gift distribution system.
Let's show some of the same kind of love to the hard working support staff members at our species' UNFCCC gathering in Copenhagen this December as we showed to our Olympic Games participants last August in Beijing. Now, let's support champion global climate treaty designers.
Chill, have fun, relax,
cup of tea?, food?, play a game?
spontaneous dance?
