The two links above (same message in different languages) are meant to serve ONLY as an example to encourage contestants to produce their own Public Service Announcements for contest entries.

Contestants are challenged to produce less-than-a-minute Public Service Announcements (PSA's) focused on themes that combine studying ecosystems with designing gifts for future generations; themes that convey an appreciation for humanity's emergent global crises and yet do so in a way that won't frighten young children.

Can we craft clear and simple messages that confront our complex crises and convey hope? This PSA open=contest is based on the feeling that YESSS, we can!!!

In addition, this PSA open=contest will allow for interested contestants to participate in a special collaboration that overlaps with open=contest # 4 on global citizen diplomacy.

YESSS is supporting special collaborative efforts for Chinese Students to team up with American Students to produce Public Service Announcements that Presidents Hu Jintao and Barack Obama will agree are good (perhaps even great) messages to inspire hopeful outcomes from Copenhagen '09.
